Flights from Russia’s Voronezh to Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan launched

Last Saturday, November 2, 2019 the Voronezh International Airport named after Peter 1, Russia, met the first Ural Airlines’ plane, which opened a flight program along the following air route: Osh, Kyrgyzstan – Voronezh, Russia – Dushanbe, Tajikistan – Voronezh – Osh.

Regular flights to these destinations will be operated every Saturday until the end of the winter flight schedule.

The first flight of this long air route was made from the Kyrgyz Republic. The Airbus A320 landed at the airport on schedule, at 11:00 am. According to the aviation tradition, the aircraft was met with a water arch. 52 passengers flew from Osh to Voronezh. After 1 hour 35 minutes, 93 people flew on the same plane from Voronezh to Dushanbe. Representatives of Tajikistan perceived the launching of this flight as a real holiday. On this occasion, representatives of the Tajik national diaspora organized a concert program for their compatriots in the terminal building.
