Russia, Kazakhstan in talks on SSJ-100 supplies

Russia and Kazakhstan are quite successfully negotiating to supply Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ-100) aircraft, Russian Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko told RIA Novosti, Russia.

“Indeed, I can confirm that negotiations are underway. They are successful enough,” Mr. Rudenko said.

SSJ-100 is a Russian short-haul passenger airliner, designed to carry up to 98 passengers at a distance of about 4.4 thousand kilometers. The aircraft made its first flight in May 2008, and was put into commercial operation in 2011.
