Russia’s S7 Airlines to launch Moscow – Nur Sultan flight

Siberia Airlines (S7 Airlines), Russia, intends to launch its international flights en route Moscow, Russia – Nur-Sultan (Astana), Kazakhstan, next summer. They will be operated three times a week since May 26, 2020, reports.

Departure from Moscow’s Domodedovo International Airport is on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 11:30 pm (local time for all airports), arrival in Nur-Sultan is at 05:50 am. Return departure is on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 06:50 am, arrival in Moscow is at 07:35 am. Airbus A320 will fly on this air route.

The minimum round-trip air ticket price is currently RUR 15,274 without included baggage and seat selection and RUR 17,404 with baggage and choice. One-way tariffs come to RUR 8,736+ and RUR 9,801+, respectively.

Recall that six months earlier, the Kazakhstan’s low-cost air carrier named FlyArystan plans to enter this air route, too. The airline is also served by Aeroflot, Russia and Air Astana, Kazakhstan. For many years, this air route has been monopolized by Air Astana, Kazakhstan, and Transaero (and then Aeroflot), Russia. A year ago, the Kazakh aviation authorities agreed to a small stepwise easing of flight restrictions.
