Aircraft owned by Azerbaijan’s low-cost Buta Airways makes emergency landing in Russia’s Volgograd

The plane of Buta Airways, the Azerbaijan’s low-cost airline, was flying en route Ganja, Azerbaijan – Moscow, Russia and made an emergency landing in Volgograd on Monday due to the deterioration in the health of one of the passengers, TASS reported with reference to the air carrier.

“Due to the deterioration of the condition of one of the passengers on the Buta Airways’ flight # J2 9817, the crew commander decided to land the plane at the airport in Volgograd, where the plane made a safe landing at 00:49 pm Baku time. The plane operated its flight en route Ganja – Moscow,” Buta Airways informed.

It is expected that after providing medical assistance to this passenger, the plane will fly out along the air route.
