The resumption of Russia – Georgia flights will be possible when the Russophobian campaign ceases in Tbilisi and any threats to the security of Russian citizens disappear, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko said in his interview with RIA Novosti, Russia.

According to him, he says that the restrictions will be lifted after the necessary conditions have been created for this.

“It will be possible to talk about its cancellation after the necessary conditions have been created for this. First of all, it is about stabilizing the situation in Georgia, ending the Russophobic campaign and the disappearance of any threats to the security of our citizens,” Mr. Rudenko said.

Russian President Vladimir Putin issued a decree on the suspension of direct flights to Georgia on June 21, 2019. Officially, Russia – Georgia air traffic was terminated on July 8, 2019.
