Air Astana launches Almaty – Mumbai regular flights

Air Astana, the Kazakhstan’s flag air carrier, launches its regular flight en route Almaty, Kazakhstan – Mumbai, India since June 1, 2020. Flights will be operated on an Airbus A320 every week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, according to the Air Company’s Press Service.

According to the airline’s summer flight schedule, on Mondays and Tuesdays, flights will be operated according to local time from Almaty at 07:05 am with arrival in Mumbai at 11:05 am and back from Mumbai at 00:05 pm with arrival in Almaty at 04:55 pm. On Thursdays and Saturdays, the flight leaves Almaty at 10:10 pm local time and back from Mumbai the next day at 03:10 am. The flight time to each side will be 4.5 hours, Air Astana told.

Booking your air tickets is already available on the airline’s website. Until March 31, inclusive, economy class air tickets can be purchased at a special promotional rate at RUR 25,000+ for roundtrip flight, depending on the type of tariff and exchange rate on the day of purchase.

Mumbai will be the second city in India, where the airline operates its regular flights. Since 2004, Air Astana has been operating its flights to New Delhi, India.
