Air taxi to Azerbaijan: Kazan – Baku flight to become daily in September 2017

Buta Airways, a new low-cost air carrier from Azerbaijan, launches its flights from Baku, Azerbaijan, to Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia, to be operated four times a week, adding to the existing flights operating by AZAL. Residents of these cities will receive daily flights with a cost of travel coming to EUR 29+.

Toty Amirova appointed in Civil Aviation Committee

Toty Amirova was appointed to be the Acting Deputy Chairperson of the Civil Aviation Committee (CAC), Kazakhstan, by the order issued by the Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. CAC is a main state aviation inspector, the Ministry wrote on its Facebook page.

During the period from 2017 and up to 2036, the world civil aviation sector will need 637 thousand new pilots. In particular, the airlines of the Asia-Pacific Region (APR) will need 253,000 new pilots, the Boeing Company’s report states.

Tariffs for flights and services at airports to be leveled in Eurasian Economic Union

The road map in the air transport sector will be adopted in the Eurasian Economic Union. This was announced yesterday by the Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev at a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, according to the  Kazinform News Agency, Kazakhstan.
