Flight trials begin for third prototype AW609

The third prototype of the civil tiltrotor Leonardo Helicopters AW609 Tiltrotor, AC3, recently began flight testing at the company’s plant in Philadelphia. Soon it was to go to Marquette, Michigan, for testing at low temperature and icing conditions.
