Airbus Helicopters improves H145 operational capabilities

Airbus has extended the flight envelope of the H145 by enhancing the helicopter’s OEI power. The acronym OEI stands for “One-engine-inoperative”, measuring the performance of an aircraft with only one engine remaining operative. With the increased power, the light-twin helicopter H145 can accommodate two additional technicians or can fly longer distances during a mission which requires human external cargo (HEC) operations.

A350-1000 Early Long Flight proves its exclusive cabin comfort and maturity


The A350-1000 completed successfully its first and unique “Early Long Flight” with 310 passengers on board, including 10 Airbus Flight Test crew members and 13 Virgin Atlantic cabin crew. Test aircraft MSN065 took off from and landed in Toulouseon May 11th after a 12 hours flight.

Lower Chamber of the Kazakh Parliament approves Agreement with Russia on aviation search

The Majilis (Lower Chamber) of the Kazakh Parliament has approved the draft law “To Ratify the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstanand the Government of the Russian Federation on Aviation Search and Rescue Cooperation”. The Agreement was reached in Astana on October 15, 2015. It regulates the organization and execution of search and rescue operations of aircraft, TASS reported.
