AZAL offers favourable conditions to WizzAir, Hungary, for resumption of Budapest – Baku flights

Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL) has offered favourable conditions to WizzAir, Hungary, for the resumption of regular flights on the BudapestBaku air route, AZAL said.

“Hungarian Wizz Air was offered with special, preferential terms for a period of three years for renewal of regular flights in 2015. Currently, we are waiting for a response from the Hungarian side”, one stated in the information.

As previously reported, WizzAir started operating its direct flights en route BudapestBaku since June 2013. In October 2014, the Air Company suspended these flights due to the expiration of the agreement on flights between the two air companies.

This year, the Air Company planned to resume flights en route BudapestBakusince March 29, 2015. However, negotiations with the Azerbaijani side have been delayed.
