Kyrgyz Civil Aviation Agency, International Air Transport Association sign MoU

The head of the Civil Aviation Agency of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Akyshev and the Vice President of IATA Regional Office Rafael Schwarzman signed a memorandum of understanding.

The signing of MoU took place on the sidelines of the round table discussion on the role of air transport in the economy of Kyrgyzstan.

The parties intend to cooperate in the field of improving the level of security, including the audits of aviation operators on the basis of the relevant IATA programs.

In addition, the memorandum provides for the improvement of airport infrastructure and air traffic control systems, as well as the introduction of new technologies related to the simplification of business procedures and transport processes.
