SCAT Airlines to fly to Saudi Arabia

SCAT Airlines, Kazakhstan, has received permission for regular flights to Saudi Arabia, the Minister of Industry and Development of Kazakhstan Zhenis Kassymbek reported on his Facebook page, according to Sputnik.

“The Civil Aviation Committee, Kazakhstan, jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republicof Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Civil Society of the Republic of Kazakhstan held negotiations on the accreditation of SCAT Airlines in the General Agency of Civil Aviation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. As a result, permits were issued to carry out regular flights from Kazakhstan to such cities, as Riyadh, Jeddah, Medina and Dammam, including during the Hajj season of 2017”, the Minister wrote.

According to Mr. Kassymbek, the airline currently determines the specific air routes, dates, and time of departure and arrival of these flights.
